Devoting time to school audiences alongside tours and residencies is what the Company wants, because increasing the pupils’ awareness in art and culture gives them an more democratic access to it and opens their minds.
The idea is that pupils will have to grasp a choreographic piece from every angle : attend a show as well as some of the company’s rehearsals, discuss the creation with the artistic team, practice dance starting with simple gestures…
The aim is to encourage meetings and exchanges, for the students not only to see the shows, but to release their imagination and sensitivity.
These actions also concern all types of public, not only school ones: amateurs, pre-professional or professional dancers, conservatory students, elderly people…
