For the past five years, Naziha Mastaoui and Yacine Aït Kaci have also developed autonomous and personal projects bringing them to present works under their own names. Yacine Aït Kaci reinvents his vision of the world through the creation of a virtual personality, the very smiling Elyx that has become virtual UN ambassador, which he draws and integrates to real life with a humorous and poetic look. Elyx have been recently seen wishing a happy new year to Parisians for the City’s new year adress, and Carolyn Carlson has invited Yacine Aït Kaci and Elyx for her last creation for young audience, Seeds, introduced in January in Chaillot, here signing their second collaboration, ten years after Double Vision. Naziha Mastaoui has started a research project on peoples’ ancestral practices, bringing her at the heart of the Amazon and to the creation of the monumental piece « 1 Heart 1 Tree », there transforming the Eiffel Tower into a virtual forest during the COP21 and allowing the planting of dozens of thousands of trees around the world.
